In 2021, the Kendrick Brothers have two films releasing: COURAGEOUS Legacy, a remastered film with added scenes to mark the film’s 10th Anniversary and Kendrick Brothers’ SHOW ME THE FATHER, their first feature-length documentary for which he served as an executive producer and writer. Stephen produced and co-wrote the movies OVERCOMER, WAR ROOM, COURAGEOUS, FIREPROOF, FACING THE GIANTS and FLYWHEEL. Deland, Dasan, and Daeh are set to play football for Indiana University. He has four sons: Deland II (21), Dasan (18), Daeh (17) and Diem (5). Deland has been married more than 20 years to his wife Darnell.

Deland is currently the Associate Head Football Coach at Indiana University. He coached in two Super Bowls, winning one, as a coach with the Kansas City Chiefs.

He coached teams to conference championships at Miami University and the University of Southern California. After his playing days ended, he went into education and was a teacher and subsequently a principal for 7 years. He also played in the Canadian Football League for the Winnipeg Bombers. Following college, he played in the NFL for the Cincinnati Bengals and Philadelphia Eagles. After high school, he attended Miami University and graduated as the all-time leading runner in Miami and conference history.
